During 2013, we employed wounded ex-military personnel at the Poppy Factory to dress our Armed Services bears in the UK. We employed the Poppy Factory to dress our Armed Forces range of bears so that we we could help get wounded, sick and injured ex-armed forces men and women back to work. Having valiantly served their country, we thought they deserved it.

Our Great British Veteran bears are a favourite with the families of our servicemen. Many surviving Veterans are gifting these special teddy bears to their Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren in an effort to pass on their brave stories to future generations. You can choose from one of four beret colours to create a personalised Teddy Bear to cuddle up to at home.

The Great British Veteran is wearing a smart white shirt and regimental tie beneath a fully lined navy blue blazer finished with two hand sewn working brass buttons. On his lapel he wears a Poppy in memory of his comrades. His miniature general service medal sits proudly on his chest. Our Veteran Teddy Bear is available wearing a Red, Navy Blue, Khaki or Green Beret each trimmed with an authentic leatherette band and displaying the Veterans Beret Badge.
