Review of Shakespeare Bear

by Jackie Law, book blogger, writer and arctophile

There is little better than book post, except perhaps bear post.   Shakespeare arrived in a canvas, drawstring bag decorated with images of all his friends. He is dressed in a well made and attractive black doublet, trimmed with burgundy velvet and antique gold satin. His ruff has been hand folded from grosgrain ribbon; he sports a bottle green velvet, Elizabethan bonnet trimmed with a feather.

First Teddy Bear Story by Emma Carney

My first teddy bear was a teddy bear called "Pancake", named so, due to the fact that on the day he was presented to me, my grandfather sat on him and he never regained his original rotundness ever again ( Pancake, not my Grandfather, he in fact got rounder) so the name stuck.   I loved that bear so much but my first true love in the teddy bear world, was "LuLu" she was a little black poodle with four legs and a little tail that wagged. I picked her out of a pile of her brother and sisters in some shop in black pool pier, and my goodness, it was love at first site. I took her everywhere and she was my truest friend, sadly she went missing when I was 10 and I never recovered ( no seriously, still scared)   My NOT replacement for Lulu, but my new companion is "Sidney" the solider.

Greetings my bear friends! It is I, the heroic and fearless St George bear, here to entertain you again with another heroic bear tale.

Greetings my bear friends! It is I, the heroic and fearless St George bear, here to entertain you again with another heroic bear tale. I have had many adventures since I saw you last. But let me tell you about my recent encounter with a sea monster! I had just visited Rome; it is the most magnificent city in the ancient world, full of riches, lavish buildings and exotic markets. I was travelling towards England by horse.
